That this House congratulates Transport for London on its scheduled completion of the East London line two months early; acknowledges the positive impact the new service will have for those living in East London; commends the excellent planning and management from London Overground's integrated client team and the dedicated effort of the numerous contracted companies that worked on the site; and further congratulates former London Mayor Ken Livingstone on laying the foundations for this major transport project.
