Closure Of Newport Passport Office (No. 2)

EDM number 1254 in 2010-12, proposed by Paul Flynn on 11/01/2011.
Categorised under the topics of Employment and Industrial relations.

That this House calls on the Government to delay any decision on the future of Newport Passport Office until the vital Economic Impact Assessment document can be considered; emphasises that a reduction in the work of the office will have crippling consequences to the economy of the City of Newport and the vitality of the city centre; and regrets the failure of the Government to communicate fully and in a timely manner with the staff and their trade unions.

This motion has been signed by a total of 26 MPs.
