Engineering Apprentices In Harlow And West Essex

That this House congratulates the 90 young people who are set to complete the Essex County Council joint engineering programme from Harlow and West Essex; congratulates also the further 15 apprentices who will start in February 2011 in National Apprenticeship Week; and notes that Harlow College and Essex County Council are leading the way nationally on skills and in creating new engineering apprenticeships, with plans to train hundreds of young people in the coming years,in the hope that they will work on major projects such as Crossrail and new wind turbines in East Anglia.
