Fuel Prices And Duty (No. 2)

EDM number 2788 in 2010-12, proposed by Tony Cunningham on 28/02/2012.

That this House recognises that people and businesses are being hit very hard by high and rising fuel prices; notes that this is on top of tax rises and spending cuts that go too far and too fast; and urges the Chancellor in his budget, to temporarily cut VAT which would take almost three pence off the price of petrol and ease the pressure on hard pressed families and firms.

This motion has been signed by a total of 20 MPs.
