Building Schools For The Future In Hampstead And Kilburn

EDM number 444 in 2010-12, proposed by Glenda Jackson on 08/07/2010.
Categorised under the topics of Construction and Schools.

That this House condemns the Conservative-Liberal Democrat Government's decision to cancel the Building Schools for the Future programme for Hampstead, Jack Taylor's, Royal Free Children's and Queen's Park Community schools in Hampstead and Kilburn and threatens UCL Academy in Swiss Cottage with a similar fate; is appalled by such a lack of concern and commitment to provide students and their dedicated teachers with an environment in which their skills and talents may flourish; and further regrets the economic short-termism which undermines future growth by failing to invest now.

This motion has been signed by a total of 6 MPs, 1 of these signatures have been withdrawn.
