Drone Attacks In Pakistan

EDM number 436 in 2012-13, proposed by George Galloway on 03/09/2012.
Categorised under the topics of Asia, Military operations and North America.

That this House condemns the huge increase in illegal drone attacks by the US in North Pakistan authorised by President Obama; notes that these are estimated by the Bureau of Investigative Journalism to have killed more than 3,000 people since 2004, at least 1,000 of them civilians, the overwhelming majority of those authorised by President Obama as Commander in Chief; and calls on the British Government to exert what pressure it can to convince the USadministration that these attacks are both illegal and counter-productive.

This motion has been signed by a total of 21 MPs.
