Swansea Bay HMRC Wales Hub

EDM number 712 in 2015-16, proposed by Geraint Davies on 17/11/2015.
Categorised under the topics of Central government and Taxation.

That this House regrets the closure of local HM Revenue and Customs tax offices across Wales, in particular the offices in Ty Nant, Swansea; notes the plan to replace these services with a centralised HM Revenue and Customs hub in Cardiff; further notes that Swansea is recognised as being in an area of relative deprivation by the EU and that Cardiff is not; and calls on the Government to locate the centralised HM Revenue and Customs hub within the Swansea Bay City Region instead of in Cardiff.

This motion has been signed by a total of 11 MPs.
