That this House welcomes and recognises the efforts of Liverpool-based company Gas Tag Ltd which seeks to improve gas safety in residential properties across the UK; notes that landlords, alongside social housing associations, are being asked to support this life saving initiative; commends Gas Tag Ltd for its work to improve the safety and wellbeing of tenants; and calls on organisations from both the private and public sectors involved in the procurement of such safety systems to use their best endeavors to ensure that these safety systems are sourced from UK businesses such as Gas Tag Ltd.
