That this House welcomes the establishment of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Healthy Homes and Buildings, which highlights the many health and cost benefits that can be created by constructing buildings and homes to the highest levels of comfort and energy efficiency; notes that most people typically spend 90 per cent of their time inside buildings so it is vital that they are designed first and foremost for people; and believes that a holistic approach to construction can deliver comfortable living and working conditions and that healthy buildings contribute to the general happiness, health and educational attainment of the nation.
