That this House welcomes the five per cent increase in visitors to Scotland in 2017; notes that five of the top 10 attractions are in Edinburgh, including Edinburgh Zoo in Edinburgh West constituency; congratulates Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh Bus Tours, Royal Yacht Britannia and the Scottish Whisky Heritage Centre on the substantial increases to their visitor numbers; thanks Glasgow Caledonia University for conducting the research demonstrating these figures; and hopes that the Scottish tourist industry will continue to go from strength to strength, drawing visitors from around the world for years to come.
