Condemnation of Apartheid: 'A Dry White Season'

EDM number 428 in 1989-90, proposed by Tom Pendry on 31/01/1990.

That this House commends the makers of the excellent film, 'A Dry White Season', which is a damning expose of the horrors of apartheid in South Africa; and recommends that Mike Gatting and the other members of his rebel team should see this production, in order to bring home to them the stark reality of the situation in that country and to dispel once and for all the incredible naivety that has been shown by those taking part.
