SENIORS' DAY

That this House congratulates the organisers of Oxfordshire Seniors' Day which is being held for the second year to draw attention to the contribution and value of senior citizens within the community and to encourage organisations, both in the private and public sectors, to make the maximum possible provision and information available to senior citizens; and notes that the organisers of the Oxfordshire Seniors' Day hope that it will be possible for this initiative to be taken up nationwide by 2000.
