Musical Diversity On BBC Radio

EDM number 456 in 1997-98, proposed by Mike Gapes on 13/11/1997.

That this House notes with interest that the BBC devotes 34 hours per week of its Radio Broadcasting time exclusively to dance music and one hour to folk music; welcomes the BBC's acknowledgement that there is increasing diversity in musical tastes; and looks forward to this being reflected in its future output.

This motion has been signed by a total of 26 MPs.
