Electoral Administration Qualification

That this House notes that the Association of Electoral Administrators, the only professional body in the United Kingdom which deals with electoral matters, has been developing a professional qualification for electoral administrators for the past few years; further notes that the AEA is currently running a pilot project prior to the public launch of the new qualification in September 1998; and congratulates the AEA for its much respected and professional commitment to maintaining and improving the standards of electoral administration in this country.
