Colombian Peace Talks
EDM number 166 in 1998-99, proposed by Richard Allan on 12/01/1999.
That this House congratulates the Government of the Republic of Colombia on its recent advances in bringing about peace talks in that country; wishes the Colombian Government and people every success in this ongoing process; and urges Her Majesty's Government to do all it can to support Colombia in achieving a lasting peace settlement.
