Recycling Arrangements In The House Of Commons

EDM number 218 in 1998-99, proposed by Barry Gardiner on 20/01/1999.

That this House regrets the excessive amounts of recyclable paper that is wastefully thrown away daily in the offices of its Members; recognises that the current systems of recycling in the Parliamentary buildings at Westminster are inefficient; and urges the House authorities to introduce an improved method of recycling for the offices of the House and its Members, including the allocation of individual recycling bins to each office to complement the existing rubbish bins.

This motion has been signed by a total of 57 MPs.
