National Forum For Maternity Care

EDM number 49 in 1998-99, proposed by Audrey Wise on 26/11/1998.

That this House calls upon the Government to establish a National Forum for Maternity Care, to include those involved in planning, commissioning and delivering maternity care, including user representatives, and for the Forum to draw up a national strategy for maternity care in the United Kingdom within the life of the present Government, building on the objectives of Changing Childbirth.
