That this House notes the recent series of accidental shootings with air rifles; welcomes the publication of the Home Affairs Select Committee report on Controls over Firearms; notes, particularly, the Committee's recommendations in respect of air weapons; and calls on the Government, in its forthcoming response to the report, specifically to review the appropriateness of the existing minimum age limits for the purchase and use of lethal and non-lethal air weapons.
