Asian Elephant

That this House congratulates the North of England Zoological Society's commitment to safeguard the future of the Asian elephant at the Zoological Gardens in Chester; notes that the Asian elephant is one of the largest and most impressive of endangered animals and that the Asian elephant will be extinct in the wild and in wildlife collections within little more than 50 years.
