Newsprint Recycling;amdt. Line 4:

EDM number 238A1 in 1999-00, proposed by Alan Simpson on 20/01/2000.

leave out from 'increases' to end and add 'believes that further increases in the proportion of recycled newsprint used in the UK would lead to expansion of the UK newsprint manufacturing sector, creating jobs and improving the UK's balance of trade figures; believes that this shift to recycled fibre would also alleviate the pressure to source virgin fibre from wildlife-rich forests overseas; and therefore hopes there will be a time for the Newspaper and Magazine Recycling Bill proposed by the honourable Member for Bristol North West to be debated and passed in this session.'.

This is a ammendment to 238.

This motion has been signed by a total of 15 MPs.
