That this House notes the recent publication of the Co-operative Bank's record annual results, proving that commercial success can be combined with socially and environmentally responsible banking; welcomes its high standard of corporate accountability achieved through publication of its independently verified Partnership Report; welcomes its commitment to promoting financial inclusion and broadening access to financial services including its campaign for free access to cash machines, innovatory Internet banking, delivery of services through post offices through the United Kingdom and its long term support of credit unions; end encourages greater partnership and co-operation between financial service providers and communities to the benefit of all consumers.
