That this House congratulates anaesthetists throughout England on National Anaesthesia Day on 25th May; notes that anaesthetists are often not recognised for being trained to an extremely high standards after qualifying as doctors and are involved in many areas of delivery of care to patients, ranging from pain relief, care of patients in intensive care units, women in labour and anaesthesia during surgery; and thanks them for their dedication and professionalism.
