EDM number 357 in 2000-01, proposed by Don Foster on 15/02/2001.

That this House notes the recent Government report explaining the effects of climate change; supports the Climate Change Bill presented by the honourable Member for Bath and a cross party group of honourable Members, which calls for a 20 per cent. reduction of carbon dioxide by 2010, based on 1990 levels, in line with the policy of all UK-wide parties represented in this House; and calls on the setting of further carbon dioxide reduction targets for 2015 and 2020.

This motion has been signed by a total of 53 MPs.
