Tobacco Advertising And Promotion Bill

EDM number 1014 in 2001-02, proposed by John Robertson on 18/03/2002.

That this House notes that Ministers estimate a ban on tobacco advertising and promotion would save 3,000 lives per year; congratulates the House of Lords on passing the Third Reading of the Tobacco Advertising and Promotion Bill on 15th March; welcomes the Government's support for the Bill; and calls on the Government to ban tobacco advertising by finding time to allow the Bill to pass through this House in the current parliamentary session.

This motion has been signed by a total of 85 MPs.
