FA Cup Semi-Final

EDM number 1059 in 2001-02, proposed by Tony Banks on 21/03/2002.

That this House expresses its deep concern that tens of thousands of Chelsea and Fulham supporters will be required to travel to Birmingham for a 7pm kick-off on Sunday 14th April for the FA Cup semi-final; believes this to be yet another example of the way in which the interests of loyal club fans have become secondary to the demands of the media and other commercial pressures; and calls upon the Football Association to move the fixture to Highbury or White Hart Lane.

This motion has been signed by a total of 20 MPs.
