Reclassification Of Cannabis

EDM number 1661 in 2001-02, proposed by Geraldine Smith on 18/07/2002.

That this House notes that cannabis is an integral part of the misuse of drugs culture that pervades the United Kingdom and is often the first step on the road to hard drug addiction; and therefore expresses its concern at the Home Secretary's proposal to re-classify cannabis as a class C drug by July 2003.

This motion has been signed by a total of 24 MPs.
