That this House congratulates the Gloucestershire Indian Association on holding a spectacular Queen's Golden Jubilee Celebration; believes the performances of traditional dance and music added talent and vitality to the county's celebrations of Her Majesty The Queen's 50 glorious years as Head of the Commonwealth; notes with pride and gratitude the great contribution made to the life of Cheltenham in particular since 1956 when the first people of Indian descent arrived in the town; and commends the Lottery Grants for Local Groups Awards for All scheme for assisting the celebration.
