Murder Of Danny Mccolgan

EDM number 656 in 2001-02, proposed by Harry Barnes on 15/01/2002.

That this House unreservedly condemns the brutal and sectarian murder by so-called loyalist paramilitaries of postman, Danny McColgan; further condemns the threat against other catholic workers; and supports the Irish Congress of Trade Unions' decision to call a protest rally at Belfast City Hall and a half-day stoppage on Friday 18th January to express the widespread revulsion at the increasing incidence of sectarianism in Northern Ireland.

This motion has been signed by a total of 32 MPs.
