EDM number 1099A1 in 2002-03, proposed by Jim Dobbin on 30/04/2003.

leave out from 'research' to end and add 'hopes that this vote in the European Parliament will lead to embryonic stem cell research being outlawed across the EU including in the UK; further notes that this vote will not restrict adult stem cell research which is ethically unproblematic and continues to make enormous advances in clinical trials; and congratulates the European Parliament on its visionary decision which stands in stark contrast to decisions made in the UK Parliament on this issue.

This is a ammendment to 1099.

This motion has been signed by a total of 14 MPs.
