NATIONAL MEN'S HEALTH WEEK

EDM number 1360 in 2002-03, proposed by Howard Stoate on 09/06/2003.

That this House welcomes the second National Men's Health Week and the report Private Parts, Public Policy - Improving Men's Sexual Health published by the Men's Health Forum; congratulates the Department of Health on funding the Men's Health Forum's Men and Chlamydia project; is concerned that sexual health clinics are struggling to cope with demand and that the Department of health's national strategy for sexual health and HIV pays limited attention to men; and calls on the Government to improve sex education for boys, improve GUM and other sexual health services and to undertake more research into sexual health promotion.

This motion has been signed by a total of 62 MPs.
