Fire Service Dispute (No 2)

EDM number 186 in 2002-03, proposed by John McDonnell on 25/11/2002.

That this House considers that when the lives of UK citizens are potentially at risk no Prime Minister can fail to act; and therefore calls upon the Prime Minister to convene an urgent meeting of the Fire Brigades Union and Fire Service Employers in order to restart talks to resolve the current dispute.
