Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders

EDM number 792 in 2002-03, proposed by Kerry Pollard on 26/02/2003.

That this House commends the valuable work being done by the organisation ADDISS in helping those affected by attention deficit hyperactivity disorders; notes that there is a shortage of teachers trained to work with children affected in this way; further notes that a lack of awareness of the condition often leads to delayed diagnosis; and calls on the Government to make funds available to promote awareness and to provide specialist training schemes for teachers.

This motion has been signed by a total of 52 MPs.
