Re-Establishment Of The Psni Band

EDM number 825 in 2002-03, proposed by Iris Robinson on 05/03/2003.

That this House calls upon the Government to overturn the decision of the Chief Constable, Hugh Orde, to disband the Police Service of Northern Ireland Band; pays tribute to the 28 professional police musicians who have worked hard over the years - both as RUC and PSNI officers - to bridge the gap between the different communities in Northern Ireland by their community and charity work; and calls on the Government to re-establish the band immediately and safeguard its future.

This motion has been signed by a total of 15 MPs.
