Overheads And Red Tape In UK Farming
EDM number 83 in 2002-03, proposed by John Hayes on 13/11/2002.
That this House notes the disparity in input costs between British farmers and their European competitors and is concerned that overheads are rising in the UK, yet falling across Europe; and therefore calls upon Her Majesty's Government to cut the red tape and regulatory burdens faced by British farmers and growers.
