Prosecutions Based On Vehicle Data Recorders

EDM number 1186 in 2003-04, proposed by Rob Marris on 13/05/2004.

That this House is disappointed to note that the Government is not aware of how many road traffic prosecutions have used evidence based on black box vehicle data recorders which can indicate the speed of the cars involved; and urges the Government to ensure that this source of evidence is not overlooked when road traffic accidents and incidents are investigated.

This motion has been signed by a total of 28 MPs.
