Doctors Making A Difference

That this House congratulates the BMA on its recent document A to Z of Doctors Making a Difference that contains inspiring case studies demonstrating how doctors across the UK are continually searching for new ways to give patients faster and more accessible high quality diagnosis and treatment; recognises the commitment and dedication that doctors working alongside their healthcare colleagues have towards their patients and the NHS; notes that the case studies contained in the document demonstrate where the record NHS funding can be spent to the benefit of patients; receives the message from doctors that they are eager to explore new ways of delivering enhanced care and increased choice to patients; and calls on the Government to involve doctors when making decisions on how any new money for the NHS can best be spent.
