Cancer Research

EDM number 1658 in 2003-04, proposed by Ian Gibson on 15/09/2004.

That this House welcomes the contents of Cancer Research UK's Agenda for Change policy document which lists key actions that the next Government can make in the areas of cancer prevention and public health, improving cancer treatment, research and technology and charity regulation and finance, to ensure that cancer patients and their families have a better future; notes that the charity has a powerful voice representing over one million people who regularly donate to the charity which funds over 3,000 scientists every year.

This motion has been signed by a total of 59 MPs.
