Port Ellen Gaelic Choir

EDM number 1795 in 2003-04, proposed by Alan Reid on 25/10/2004.

That this House congratulates Port Ellen Gaelic Choir on their success in winning the Sheriff MacMaster Campbell Memorial Quaich for Rural Choirs at the recent Royal National Mod in Perth; notes that this success comes after several years of effort; and commends the members of the Choir and thier conductress, Mrs Jean Campbell, for their commitments to the Gaelic language, music and culture and wishes them continued success in the years to come.
