Donal Mooney Rip
EDM number 1834 in 2003-04, proposed by Kevin McNamara on 27/10/2004.
That this House joins with the family and friends of Donal Mooney in celebrating his life and mourning his death; recognises his achievement as editor of the Irish Post and the Irish World and his work for the Irish community in Britain, particularly during the recent troubles; and notes that his affection for multi-cultural Britain was only exceeded by his love for his native land, Ireland.
