Cafod Clean Up Your Computer Campaign

EDM number 672 in 2003-04, proposed by Colin Burgon on 24/02/2004.

That this House applauds the recent Clean Up Your Computer campaign by CAFOD to secure better conditions for workers in developing countries employed by large multi-nationals in the electronics industry; notes that as a result of the campaign, Dell has now produced a code of conduct that includes improved guidelines on discrimination on providing health and safety training; and now expects Hewlett Packard and IBM to follow this lead.

This motion has been signed by a total of 60 MPs, 1 of these signatures have been withdrawn.
