British Football And The Olympic Games

EDM number 786 in 2003-04, proposed by Tony Banks on 05/03/2004.

That this House wishes to see a football team representing Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the 2008 Olympic Games; and calls upon the British Olympic Association and the football associations of the four home nations to agree a formulation based either on a directly selected team or on the winning team for a home nations competition.
