DIRECTORS' PENSIONS

That this House notes that, according to the latest TUC Pensions Watch survey, the average company contribution rate to director's pensions is 19.5 per cent. and in individual cases is up to 30 per cent.; further notes that the average company contribution to employees' pensions is six per cent.; and agrees with the Pensions Watch finding that disclosure on directors' pensions needs to be improved if shareholders are effectively to address over-generous provision for directors.
