Access To Higher Education

EDM number 285 in 2004-05, proposed by Phil Willis on 02/12/2004.

That this House believes that access to higher education should be based on academic potential; recognises that the use of examination results as the sole predictor of potential can be unreliable; and calls upon all universities to select students by the use of a variety of means to assess potential in addition to AS and A2 examination results.

This motion has been signed by a total of 23 MPs.
