Transfer Of BBC Production To Manchester

EDM number 352 in 2004-05, proposed by Tony Lloyd on 08/12/2004.

That this House welcomes the decision of the BBC to relocate production and employment to Manchester; recognises that this will allow the development of a critical mass which can support improved production and commissioning from independent producers throughout the North; and applauds a step which will improve programming and viewer satisfaction throughout the whole country.
