RACHEL'S DAIRY ABERYSTWYTH

EDM number 766 in 2004-05, proposed by Simon Thomas on 23/02/2005.

That this House congratulates Rachel's Dairy of Aberystwyth for their success in the first Good Housekeeping Food Awards; notes that Rachel's only uses Welsh organic milk to produce their fantastic range of yoghurts, cream, butter, milk and dessert; further notes that their products have a lower sugar content than many alternatives and are completely free of artificial substances; believes Welsh farming has a tremendous image as being both green and clean; welcomes the recent expansion at Rachel's and the jobs created; believes that organic farming gives benefits to consumers, the environment and farmers; and wishes Rachel's Dairy a successful future.
