Harrogate Town Football Club

That this House congratulates Harrogate Town FC of the Conference North on reaching the first round proper of the FA Cup; further congratulates the team for its superb performances over two exciting matches against Torquay United of the Football League; commiserates with the team, directors, management and supporters for the defeat on penalties after a goalless draw and extra time; wishes Torquay success in future rounds; thanks the Chairman, Bill Fotherby, for his commitment, enthusiasm and support for Harrogate Town; and wishes the club every success in its quest to find new facilities to expand further opportunities for soccer in the Harrogate district.
