Government Planning Guidelines

EDM number 1161 in 2005-06, proposed by Philip Davies on 30/11/2005.

That this House recognises the widespread concern about excessive and inappropriate house building; believes that planning permission for residential properties should be decided solely by local planning authorities without Government interference or guidelines; believes that regional assemblies should be abolished and therefore have no input in planning targets; and believes that there should be no right of appeal to a planning inspector for a residential development.

This motion has been signed by a total of 4 MPs.
