BLACKPOOL GAZETTE'S RESPECT CAMPAIGN

EDM number 1257 in 2005-06, proposed by Ben Wallace on 13/12/2005.

That this House welcomes the Blackpool Gazette's Respect campaign to end the scandal of violence, intimidation and abuse to which firefighters, ambulance crews, police officers, teachers, nurses and armed forces veterans are frequently subjected; regrets the fact that men and women in uniform are often forced to bear the brunt of anti-social behaviour; and calls on the Government to do more to tackle this problem.

This motion has been signed by a total of 17 MPs.
