Offshore Accounts
EDM number 1800 in 2005-06, proposed by David TC Davies on 13/03/2006.
That this House recognises that off-shore accounts can play a useful role in reducing an individual's tax liabilities; notes that off-shore accounts are currently used mainly by the very rich; and urges the Government, in the interests of social justice, to make available more information about the workings of off-shore accounts so that all sections of society can benefit from a reduction in their tax burden.
