Graeme Dott World Snooker Champion 2006

That this House congratulates Graeme Dott on winning the 2006 World Snooker Championship in the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield on 1st May 2006; further congratulates the runner-up Peter Ebdon for his part in making this final a spectacular success; welcomes the return of snooker's top honour to Scotland; is delighted for the new World Champion's family and supporters who are rightly proud of his finest achievement so far; and looks forward to him returning to Scotland and his home town of Larkhall, Lanarkshire where his greatest fans are.
